Why Video Calibration Is Essential

I recently had the pleasure of collaborating on a sleek and dynamic video project for the handbag brand Glacé, in partnership with influencer Romy. My main role on this project was video color grading, a crucial step in creating visually flawless content.

The calibration process

For this project, I worked with specialized professional tools, particularly DaVinci Resolve, to achieve precise and consistent color grading throughout the film. Each bag had to be shown in its best light—literally.

Work on the color of the leather, frame by frame, using masks to ensure that the brand’s Pantone colors are accurately reproduced

Here are a few before-and-after screenshots to clearly illustrate the noticeable difference that professional color grading makes. You’ll particularly notice the depth of the colors, the smoothness of the tones, and the overall harmony, which make the final video particularly appealing and high-quality.

Why Video Calibration Is Essential

This meticulous work is now available on Glacé’s official website and social media channels, where the video has received a lot of positive feedback. This experience clearly demonstrates the added value of professional color grading: a better-graded video stands out, attracts more viewers, and drives higher conversion rates.

Thank you to Glacé and Romy for this wonderful collaboration, which highlights the importance of color and visual precision in video storytelling.
