Production of an event video for Yves Rocher – 2025 Christmas Party in Paris
In December 2025, Yves Rocher hosted an immersive Christmas party in Paris, designed as a comprehensive experience centered around its new holiday product line. The event took place at a private restaurant in the Buttes-Chaumont neighborhood, which was transformed for the occasion into a true winter wonderland featuring product demonstrations, creative workshops, and opportunities for socializing.
My role: to design and produce several high-quality event videos intended to capture the atmosphere of the day and evening, while staying true to the brand’s elegant and professional identity.
An open-format event to bring the Yves Rocher Christmas world to life
The first part of the event took the form of an open-format day, during which influencers, journalists, and celebrities were invited to discover the brand’s new products in a deliberately warm and immersive setting.
Guests were able to participate in various creative activities centered around the theme of Christmas, including making wreaths from natural materials—a direct reflection of Yves Rocher’s commitment to nature and botanicals.
The goal was not to create a flood of viral content, but rather to build a cohesive experience that encouraged immersion and a deeper understanding of the products.
From this stage on, video plays a key role: capturing gestures, textures, expressions, and interactions. In other words, everything that can’t be conveyed in a press release.
A prestigious evening to wrap up the experience
The day concluded with a prestigious sit-down dinner, bringing together a select group of carefully chosen influencers and VIPs, including Shohar Glass, in a decidedly upscale atmosphere.
The evening featured:
-
an elegant dinner,
-
informal conversations among guests,
-
and a live concert, which further enhances the emotional impact of the event.
It is in moments like these that event videos truly shine: capturing the atmosphere, energy, and rhythm of the moment, without ever veering into excess or resorting to flashy gimmicks.
My approach as an event videographer
Create elegant and well-structured content
For this event, the brand opted for a two-pronged content strategy:
an agency focused on more viral and immediate formats,
and, at the same time, a more formal, elegant, and comprehensive video production.
My work clearly falls under this second category.
The goal: to create videos that stand the test of time and can be repurposed for both internal and external communications, while adhering to the aesthetic standards of a major cosmetics brand.
Formats tailored to real-world use
The deliverables included:
a video approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds long, intended for the brand’s internal communications,
a 15-second video,
A 30-second video, available in
, in 9:16 and 4:5 aspect ratios—perfect for Instagram.
These videos were designed for seamless sharing on social media, while maintaining clear storytelling and a strong visual identity.

Why Event Videos Are Strategic for a Beauty Brand
In the cosmetics and luxury goods industry, event videos aren’t just used to “show what happened.” They allow you to:
-
strengthen the brand image,
-
showcase the product range,
-
build an emotional connection with audiences,
-
build a high-quality content library for social media,
-
and ensure overall consistency between in-person events and digital communications.
A well-crafted promotional video becomes a communication tool in its own right, just like a campaign or brand content.
